The Entry Level Network Architect will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This individual will work closely with senior network architects and engineers to develop solutions that meet the organizations networking needs.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking principles protocols and technologies along with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of network architecture.
Key Responsibilities :
Participate in the design and implementation of network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and other network devices.
Collaborate with senior network architects and engineers to develop network solutions that meet business requirements.
Configure and optimize network devices to ensure performance scalability and security.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
Document network configurations procedures and best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
Provide support to users and other IT teams on networkrelated issues.
Assist in the evaluation of new network technologies and services.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Basic understanding of networking concepts protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP / IP DNS DHCP VPN VLANs).
Knowledge of network devices such as routers switches firewalls and access points.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network are a plus.
