Role Overview :
We're looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles . Reporting to the Operations Director, this role involves handling the washing, delivery, and collection of reusable products using our specialized 26ft box truck equipped with a hydraulic lift gate as needed. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of promoting sustainability and reducing waste in event spaces.
Key Responsibilities :
- Load and unload cases of product from the box truck with precision and care.
- Sort and prepare dirty cups for washing.
- Operate a commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize cups.
- Inspect products for quality assurance.
- Pack and organize clean products for delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness prior to delivery to customers.
- Accompany the Operations Manager on deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Perform order deliveries using company vehicles and technology such as our company’s App while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director to execute delivery plans effectively.
- Represent r.World professionally during client interactions.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational checklists.
- Familiarize yourself with local routes and optimize delivery efficiency.
- Provide support in wash cycle activities as needed.
