Role Overview :
We're looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in D.C. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role involves handling the washing, delivery, and collection of reusable products using our specialized 26ft box truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate as needed. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of promoting sustainability and reducing waste in event spaces.
Key Responsibilities :
- Load and unload cases of product from the box truck with precision and care.
- Sort and prepare dirty cups for washing.
- Operate a commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize cups.
- Inspect products for quality assurance.
- Pack and organize clean products for delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness prior to delivery to customers.
- Accompany the Operations Manager on deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Perform order deliveries using company vehicles and technology such as our companys App while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director to execute delivery plans effectively.
- Represent r.World professionally during client interactions.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational checklists.
- Familiarize yourself with local routes and optimize delivery efficiency.
- Provide support in wash cycle activities as needed.
