What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at R1?
As our Customer Service Representative in the Patient Registration Department, you’ll work to help our patients check into the hospital for hospital services. You’ll often be the first face they see and the person they rely on to answer questions during registration. You’ll build trust in these interactions by collecting information accurately and quickly, but also by listening with compassion - not just to intake information, but to address their fears, concerns, and questions. To thrive in this job, you’ll need to be confident with technology and typing, however you don’t need to have any previous hospital experience or knowledge in healthcare. Bring your previous experience in customer service and we’ll teach you everything you need to know. This is a perfect starting point to launch your Healthcare career.
Since this is a healthcare facility, all applicants must be up to date on all vaccinations (including but not limited to COVID-19 and annual flu shot), pass a drug test, and pass a background check prior to hire.
