What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at R3 Composites?
Job Purpose: To establish, build and maintain relationships, improve company performance and to ensure program projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Establish, build, and maintain relationships with third parties, vendors, and customers.
· Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
· Ensure Safety and Regulatory understanding, plus the proper operational understanding of all aspects of the facility to create an optimal, safe and cost-effective quote model.
· Create and submit quote forms and/or sheets in R3C, or customer formats, working with Vendors, Engineering, Sales and any plant entities required to efficiently and effectively process all RFQ’s.
· Create and maintain the APQP workbook and follow customer requirements for all new opportunities.
· Responsible to periodically review agreement terms and conditions of relative customer contracts.
· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
· Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project requirements.
· Develop a detailed project timing plan to monitor and track progress.
· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
· Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
· Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
· Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
· Clearly communicate the progress to internal and external stakeholders.
· Forecast and track project cost and timing.
· Able to report and escalate, necessary information to management team and/or co-workers.
· Observe and obey all safety rules.
Requirements:
· B.S. Project Management and/or Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent experience of > 5 years Manufacturing Engineering experience
· Work experience in project management preferred.
· Technical background with technical understanding and/or hands-on experience preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Speak, read and write English
Working Conditions:
· Able to work around fiberglass debris and powder residue and various non-woven materials and residues.
· Fast paced, multitasking a necessity. Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
