Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
The Instructional Systems Support Specialist (ISS) is a vital member of the team responsible for developing, managing, and improving curriculum for medical training programs at the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC). The ISS ensures curriculum aligns with the standards and policies of the Air Force, Army, and Navy while integrating the latest instructional technology and educational methodologies.
The ISS collaborates with academic affairs staff, program sponsors, and external agencies to enhance training effectiveness and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development
Plan and organize the curriculum lifecycle process for 48 enlisted medical training programs.
Develop interactive instructional materials incorporating advanced educational technology.
Provide technical expertise and training to METC faculty and staff on Instructional Systems Development (ISD) and Systems Approach to Training (SAT) processes.
Conduct analysis to determine curriculum effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with METC leadership, program sponsors, and external organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational program management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clearance Requirement
Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a Tier 1 (T1) Background Investigation clearance before the start date. Interim computer access may be granted upon initiation of the background check and completion of security awareness training.
