Salary : Job Summary

The Security Engineer is responsible for implementing security measures to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role involves conducting security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance audits.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement security controls, policies, and procedures.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Monitor systems for security incidents and respond to threats.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and ISO 27001.

Collaborate with IT teams to design secure system architectures.

Qualifications

Education : BS / BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.

Certifications : CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent security certification preferred.

Experience :

• 7 years in information security, including network and application security.
• Strong knowledge of security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS / IPS, encryption).
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
