Who is R3 Waiver?
R3 Waiver is a provider agency authorized by the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to provide support to individuals in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, who receive what is today referred to as “waiver funding.” Our DSPs work as little as 2 hours per week or much more than that. They support one individual or more than one. For you, this can be something you do in addition to your regular career, or this can be your career.
Summary:
The Recruiter role performs the recruitment, selection, placement, and orientation functions to meet staffing needs of R3 Waiver, in compliance with company policy, federal, and state law.
Part Time position, approximately 5-8 hours a week. Can be done remotely with a flexible schedule.
Essential Functions:
- Recruits Direct Support Professionals for specific individuals based upon location, hours, and specific needs of individuals.
- Screens applications/resumes to meet job requirements.
- Reaches out to qualified candidates to do the first initial phone screen.
- Conducts phone interviews with qualified candidates to ensure the candidate is a good fit for a specific individual.
- Rejects non qualified applicants.
- Keeps constant communication with the CEO on qualified candidates.
- Sets up in-person interviews to meet with the recruiter and CEO.
- Conducts in-person interviews.
- Keeps track of social media advertising through Facebook, linkedin, etc.
- Manages R3 Waiver really account.
- Collaboration/Mentoring with R3 staff members: Participating in team meetings and/or smaller group discussions to brainstorm and discuss strategies for delivering support.
- Complete required amount of training decided by R3 Waiver management.
- Assisting in quality and retention management of associates.
- Preparing new hire welcome/ onboarding email for new hires.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Verifying references and conducting background checks as needed.
- Setting up new hires in ADP and Sandata.
- Collecting all onboarding paperwork from new hires and uploading it into google docs.
- Managing staff onboarding checklist in google docs.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in related fields.
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including criminal background checks.
- 1-3 years of experience recruiting, preferably in healthcare.
