This research will leverage existing data infrastructure to generate tailored market intelligence across key sectors related to climate change and environmental health. Additionally, the intern will support internal reporting efforts, optimize workflows, and contribute to AI-driven initiatives across the team.
Candidates must be eager to experiment with ways to incorporate AI into their work to be more efficient and effective. This is a full-time Boston-based paid internship.

Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze relevant datasets to support Planetary health team’s research and investment strategies.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to extract insights on key environmental health and climate-related sectors.
- Streamline data workflows and contribute to internal reporting processes.
- Work within a team to help drive technical innovation and collaborate with teammates to pressure test and validate key findings.
- Must be a Massachusetts resident or attend a college or university located in Massachusetts.
- Must be willing to be based locally in Boston this summer and be able to work on a hybrid schedule in our local office
- Rising college junior or senior majoring in Computer Science, Economics, or Mathematics or any data analytics-related, with 0-1 years of professional experience.
- Clear interest and/or prior experience in Planetary Health.
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Experience with Databricks and experience leveraging AI in either a project or work-related setting.
- Ability to communicate complex analyses and results clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
