The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and portioning food items, maintaining a sanitary kitchen workstation, and following established procedures and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and portioning of food items prior to cooking
- Maintaining a sanitary kitchen workstation
- Preparing or directing preparations of all recipes in compliance with portions sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
- Selecting and utilizing knives, hand tools, utensils and equipment to produce food on the kitchen line
- Complying with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
- Reporting necessary equipment repair and maintenance to the Manager
- Communicating with Lead Line Cook to facilitate customer orders efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation required
- Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
- Bilingual preferred
