Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
• Significant experience in Client SQL programming and development is a must including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
• Must have hands-on experiences in migrating from standard relational database to non-relational databases leveraging Big Data stack and alternate mechanisms like HDFS, Spark, Neo4j, Snowflake, Airflow, etc.
• Assess and analyze existing database architecture to identify opportunities for modernization.
• Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, compression techniques to optimize data-size and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data.
