Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:

   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
   • Implement test cases for web, mobile, and API testing.

2. Testing Strategy:

   • Collaborate with QA and development teams to design effective test strategies and plans.
   • Identify testing requirements and create reusable, scalable test frameworks.

3. Execution and Reporting:

   • Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects.
   • Report and track issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

4. Integration with CI/CD Pipelines:

   • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality checks during deployments.
   • Monitor and optimize test execution performance.

5. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with developers to understand the application architecture and resolve issues.
   • Participate in design and code reviews to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

6. Documentation:

   • Document test cases, scripts, and results to maintain a clear QA process.
   • Provide feedback to improve the overall software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Technical Skills:

   • Strong proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress.
   • Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
   • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
   • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
   • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

2. Problem-Solving:

   • Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
   • Ability to design creative test scenarios for complex functionalities.

3. Soft Skills:

   • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
   • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

4. Experience:

   • 9 years of experience in QA automation testing.
   • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

5. Education:

   • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Qualifications :-

• Certification in QA Automation or Testing tools (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experience in cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Familiarity with security testing and tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
