Job Title: QA SDET Engineer
Location: Alpharetta ,GA
Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated QA SDET Engineer to join our engineering team and ensure the highest quality in our software development lifecycle. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in enhancing automated testing processes, building cutting-edge testing solutions, and contributing to the overall software quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks tailored for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Write scalable and maintainable automated test scripts in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform thorough manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
Process Optimization:
- Improve test coverage and execution efficiency across development teams.
- Advocate for quality-first principles and best practices in software engineering.
Tools & Technologies:
- Work with modern testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Leverage API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) to validate backend systems.
- Employ performance and load testing frameworks such as JMeter or Gatling.
Continuous Integration/Deployment:
- Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Exposure to security and penetration testing.
