We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks for our software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience in automation testing, and a deep understanding of software development and testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, test scripts, and tools to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and execute automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Work with RESTful APIs and perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for testing in cloud environments.
• Enhance testing efficiency by adopting best practices in test automation, including shift-left testing.
• Stay up to date with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
• Test Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• API Testing: Expertise in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust is a plus.
• Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL and database testing using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Security Testing: Exposure to security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite is a plus.
