Job description :
- Elasticsearch Implementation :
- Design and implement Elasticsearch clusters to meet the organization's search and analytics requirements
- Configure and optimize Elasticsearch indices and mappings
- Elastic Stack Integration :
- Implement and configure other components of the Elastic Stack, including Logstash and Kibana
- Ensure seamless integration between various Elastic Stack components
- Performance Optimization :
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Elasticsearch clusters
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues
- Security and Access Control :
- Implement security measures for Elasticsearch clusters, including access control and encryption
- Stay updated on Elastic Stack security best practices and apply them to the organization's environment
- Logging and Data Ingestion :
- Design and implement efficient log shipping and data ingestion processes
- Experience with programming languages commonly used with OpenSearch / ElasticSearch (e.g., Java) to help app dev teams craft efficient integrations, query patterns, and indexes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance logging capabilities
- Documentation and Training :
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Elastic Stack configurations and processes
- Provide training and support to other team members on Elastic Stack usage
