What You'll Do:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments (manually if freight is lose), verify contents against purchase orders or invoices, and inspect for damages or defects
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to packing slips or order forms
- Organize and maintain inventory by properly storing items, labeling shelves, and conducting regular cycle counts
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach and manual and electric pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner
- Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, disposing of trash, and maintaining aisles clear of obstructions
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and reconciliations
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach and manual and electric pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
