Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized records.
Job Duties:
- Utilize system to track inventory and shipments
- Package items securely for shipment
- Verify all shipments for content and quality
- Perform basic math calculations for order fulfillment
- Load delivery trucks
- Manage shipping documentation using our ERP system
- Assist with picking, packing, and labeling orders
- Utilize tow motors for moving materials within the warehouse
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate issues with appropriate management personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Ability to operate tow motors efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of shipping processes
