Job Title Operations Analyst Job Description Client Onboarding Analyst RaboFinance Chile, leader in financial services for the Food & Agri sector in Chile, is offering an opportunity in its Operations and Onboarding Team as a ”Client Onboarding Analyst”, open to any member of the international Rabobank network. The position will be responsible of performing local onboarding functions (including CDD and KYC), maintaining close relations with other international Rabobank offices to ensure smooth and efficient business processes, managing client data and cooperating in other related projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Perform Client Onboarding functions including KYC and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) processes, in close cooperation with the Commercial areas. The occupant is responsible for ensuring that the assigned clients’ files meet internal policy requirements. · Frequent contact with Head Office and some international Rabobank offices, to ensure the smooth and timely execution of processes. · Perform frequent Client Data Management based on the input from internal and external stakeholders, inputting data in the relevant information systems. · Working in close partnership with Compliance, Operations, and Commercial areas (amongst others) to ensure timely and efficient business processes. · Full adherence to internal corporate policies (both local and global) and external policies. · Occasional supervision of the organization’s offshore based assets. · Participation in the team’s activities and projects, which may imply working closely with other areas. Through these responsibilities, the position contributes in a significant way to prevent, manage and control situations that could represent a violation of local or international regulations, and that may have a negative impact on the reputation of Rabobank. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR In addition, it's important that you recognise yourself in the requirements below: Essential (you must recognize yourself in the requirements below) · 2-5 years of Work Experience, with at least 1 of those years in KYC/Compliance in the Finance Industry. · Full/advanced command of English, both spoken and written. · Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) at user level. · Basic command of Spanish OR interest in learning. Desirable (considered a plus, but are not key for performing the job’s duties) · Bachelor’s degree · Intermediate (or better) command of Spanish. · Familiarity with banking products Competencies (the following work skills are important to be successful at the position) · Goal orientation and flexibility: the ability to understand the position goals and fulfill the assigned responsibilities according to established procedures. In addition, one must have the ability to adapt to unexpected changes, and have a “problem solver” attitude in responding to these demands. · Strong written skills: the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in e-mail and reports with different local and international stakeholders. · Good interpersonal communication skills: the ability to communicate in a clear and respectful manner, while at the same time effectively influencing stakeholders to cooperate and comply with the area’s requirements. · Analytical and detail-oriented: the ability to analyze different sources and complex structures, and synthesize this information for the different requirements of the area and/or other stakeholders. A keen eye for details is key, due to the sensitive nature of the job responsibilities. · Self-organization and efficiency: the ability to self-organize one’s own time and to prioritize responsibilities, in order to meet the deadlines of the position’s responsibilities. · Teamwork: the ability to cooperate with one’s own team and provide occasional support if needed, in order to maintain a good, collaborative work environment. A focus on the customer/stakeholder needs is highly useful.
