Operations Support Specialist
Job Purpose: The Operations Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the stores and coworkers of our field operations. This is accomplished by identifying, analyzing, solutioning, designing and/or developing changes in various programs. This position works cross functionally to review and implement internal and external enhancements and is a critical role in launches and releases that drive the business forward. In addition, this position will maintain and administer B2B relationships and multiple ad-hoc support functions.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Identifies opportunities for point-of-sale (POS) development through store visits and feedback from field operations, making recommendations, standardizing best practices and improving processes
- Preforms Quality Analysis and approval on user stories prior to field implementation
- Works with IT developers to identify defects by conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the point of sale and a strategy to implement fixes
- Acts as the final operations signoff for all POS development releases
- Creates and maintains a repository of job aids for field coworkers
- Create and/or review field level communications for development releases and other technical enhancements
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding field inquiries
- Works cross-functionally to support FSC initiatives that drive the business forward
- Effectively manage competing deadlines on multiple projects to foster a culture of continuous improvement for store operations and customer/coworker experience
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities, especially related to the execution of strategy, and capable of offering solutions that utilize analysis and investigation of individual processes and broader systems
- Respond to ad-hoc requests, inquiries and various duties to support business leaders
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' business-to-business or retail operations experience
- RTO or Retail Store Operations experience is a significant plus.
- Excellent organization and management skills with strong project and time management
- Capable of working independently with limited direction, as well as part of a cross-functional team, and ability to work well with all levels of Store and Corporate Operations
- Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to work in office (Plano, TX) Monday through Friday
