RACCAR Automotive-Subaru Superstore of Chandler, our family owned and operated automotive dealership is expanding and is currently seeking an Express Service Advisor to join our award-winning team service team! We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality. The ideal candidate will put Customer Service as the top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally greet clients on the drive for express maintenance items including oil changes, wiper blade replacements, tire repairs, battery testing & replacement, cabin & air filter inspections & replacements
- Obtain client and vehicle information
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update clients frequently
- Explain the repair process, review the inspection results after the oil change has been completed while providing an active delivery (review of services performed) when delivering finished vehicle to the customer.
Qualifications:
- Deliver a Truly Exceptional client experience
- Minimum 1 year of automotive express service advisor experience preferred
- Prior experience using Reynolds & Reynolds, UCS, or ADP Database Systems is preferred
- Process driven, have outstanding attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
- Be self-motivated and manage day to day work plan activities in a fast-paced environment
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality, positive attitude, and a professional appearance
- Proficient computer skills (Including Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older
