Raccoon Forks Farms, a microbusiness of Optimae LifeServices, is accepting applications for part-time and full-time Farm Job Coaches in Redfield. The Farm Job Coach is to work one-on-one with customers in building skills pertaining to local food farming duties. This position must deliver high quality training services to Optimae customers and is responsible for supporting Optimae customers after job placement to ensure successful workplace orientation and job retention. The Farm Job Coach will be responsible for developing a workplace training plan. Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with a wide variety of people and have good computer skills.

Duties include:
- Responsible for managing and supervising several customers throughout the day.
- Filling out daily paperwork.
- Commitment to working with someone with mental/intellectual disabilities.
- Follow agenda and schedule for customer and location.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment.
- Commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
- Able to take direction from supervisors.
- Good communication skills.
- A team player.
- Patience and understanding.
- Knowledge of food farming skills.
- Understanding of proper use of food farming equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must complete 9.5 hours of employment services training as offered through Direct Course or through ACRA certified training program within six months of hire.
- Must complete 4 hours of continuing education in employment services annually, on a rolling year calendar that begins after 9.5 hours are completed.
- Must meet the education requirements and earn the professional certificate of completion required with 24 months from the date of hire.
- Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
- Personal computer knowledge is essential: MS Office Applications (Word, Excel).
- Must have a valid Iowa driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Subject to a background check.
