Job Description:
The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.
- Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
- Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
- Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle
- Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
- Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
- Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trades
Qualifications:
- Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred
- Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred
- Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred
- 4 years work experience preferred
- Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants
- Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus
- General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus
- Maintenance or repair certifications a plus
- Basic Microsoft office knowledge
