Job Description
Pay Range : $15.15 - $18.94 / hour
The Loss Control Team Member is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the gym’s property, assets, members, and staff during the night shift. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, managing access control, preventing unauthorized access, resolving conflicts professionally, and maintaining detailed incident reports. Additionally, the Loss Control Team Member will assist with gym operations, including inventory management, customer service, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Conduct remote and in-club reviews of surveillance footage and door access entry to protect property and assets
- Determine the proper course of action regarding member concerns, utilizing conflict resolution skills when needed and leading all situations with kindness
- Effectively monitor all member access to Chuze facilities, denying club access to non-members and unauthorized guests and removing individuals who have or are actively posing a security risk to the club
- Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred to management, log and communicate infractions to related parties
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Familiarize yourself with club operations, such as monitoring gym access by members, POS transactions, member interactions, and the essential functions of the club management software
- Assist in maintaining presentation to Chuze standards, ensuring the clubs are always extraordinarily clean
- Monitor email for general communications updates from management and record and communicate security infractions
- Assist with inventory management through spot checks and inventory audits
- Maintain knowledge of facilities, membership information, and general club operations, upholding and adhering to all Chuze policies
