Job Description:
Verifies and confirms product conformance to Customer requirements using various measurement and inspection methods and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Inspects product at various stages of production including Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, and Final Inspection.
· Works according to deadlines to meet Rache and Customer goals.
· Works closely with the Quality Manager on special Quality projects, as assigned.
· Reviews incoming material and associated documentation to ensure conformance to requirements.
· Records Inspection data on work orders and inspection reports.
· Performs First Article Inspection per AS9102C, including preparing balloon drawings, gathering certifications, recording measurement data, reviewing customer Purchase Orders for additional requirements, etc.
· Works with Production to identify nonconforming product and creates NCMR’s accordingly. Reports findings to Quality Management.
· Returns excess Finished Goods and unused material to stock.
· Packages and labels product for shipment to Customers and Suppliers.
· Assists Quality Manager with Internal Audits, including FOD audits.
· Checks calibration status of items and packages them for delivery to calibration supplier. Gather items for on-site calibration events.
· Follows local, state, and federal regulations.
· Quality related office activities such as scanning, filing, cataloging, etc.
· Other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications:
· Qualifications for this position are based on required education level, work experience, and existing skillset.
· Experience operating under AS9100 is strongly preferred.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
· Minimum 2 years of Quality Inspection experience.
Skills/Technical Requirements
· Experience taking accurate measurements with assorted measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, thread and pin gages, height gages, CMM/video measurement systems, etc.
· Experience reading and understanding Customer blueprints/drawings.
· Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
· Familiarity with Quality standards and processes.
· Able to communicate Quality findings and details clearly, both verbally and written.
· Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting workmanship requirements and adhering to company policy.
· Attention to detail.
· Dependable and punctual.
· Willingness and ability to learn new skills, software, equipment, processes, etc.
· Ability to work professionally, in a team, with diverse groups of people.
· Ability to problem-solve.

Protective Devices Required:
PPE for Inspection personnel may be required while in production areas when working or moving through areas where activities that could cause injury or illness are taking place. PPE that may be required can include:
· Safety glasses
· Gloves
· Dust Masks
· Other PPE determined necessary depending on the activities taking place
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
