Position Description :
Rachel Contracting is seeking qualified applicants for a Construction Technology Coordinator position. Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition, and utilities primarily in the Midwest / Central US region. Our team welcomes individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering quality workmanship with integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities and Tasks :
- Emphasize safety as Rachel’s number one value.
- Train, educate, and assist field personnel with the use and operation of GPS and positioning equipment.
- Verify site set-ups, calibrations, and machine measurements for accuracy.
- Assists in the setup and maintenance of all survey equipment including robotic total stations, GPS Rovers, and GPS guided machinery.
- Perform site calibrations, pre-surveys, progress surveys, aerial topographical surveys, and as-builts, as necessary.
- Perform site staking and layout, as necessary.
- Prepares and produces 3-D models to review site conditions, compare topographical surveys, and use in heavy equipment for guidance.
