Rachel Contracting is seeking qualified applicants for a Project Engineer to assist our Estimating / Project Management Department. Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition and utilities primarily in the Midwest / Central US region. Responsibilities and Tasks :
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent on various earthwork and general civil construction projects.
- Track actual production quantities and costs and report them to the Project Manager.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Manage subcontract schedules and monitor quality of work.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
- Support with several project management duties for earthwork, demolition and general civil construction projects.
- Travel will be required for this position.
