Responsibilities
- Greet each member personally with warm welcome
- Work as a team with all staff in order to maintain a positive atmosphere and exceptional food and beverage service
- Keep bar area clean and stocked with bottles and glasses arranged to maintain an attractive display.
- Maintain clean glassware
- Possess full knowledge of the full menu of beverage offerings; take and deliver food orders at table in a timely manner
- Anticipate member needs and offer your assistance proactively
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for members in bar and dining room following standard recipes in a timely fashion. This includes liquor control and accurate pouring of products
- Manage count of drinks that guests are served and provide current bar tabs to guests
- Effectively use POS system to process orders, prepare checks and accept payments
- Adhere to the RCC policy regarding guest alcohol service guidelines
- Other duties as needed (we value teamwork)
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and friendly attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be 18 years or older for alcohol service
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in different roles, including serving and beverage cart duties
- Ability to lift and carry trays, bottles, and other bar equipment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude
- Must be willing to obtain a bartender’s license and be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- $15.00 per hour gratuities
