What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Scouting Internship position at Racing Louisville FC?
Racing Louisville FC is looking for passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated individuals to contribute to our scouting process and gain valuable experience toward building a career in the soccer industry. This internship will provide a real opportunity to contribute to our team and make a significant impact on our recruitment processes.
*This internship will be fully remote.*
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify & evaluate potential signings through video scouting of international women’s leagues.
- Cover assigned markets to support potential signings and evaluate players identified by our technical staff.
- Present players to front office & technical who fit the desired playing style and can contribute to our first team.
Requirements:
- Available to work 10-20 hours per week remotely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively deliver presentations to office and technical staff.
- Strong knowledge of women’s soccer, including its global leagues and players.
- Passionate about scouting and player evaluation in women’s soccer.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience following, analyzing, or working with women’s soccer.
- Experience writing about, covering, and analyzing women’s soccer
- Ability to identify, communicate, and build connections with player agents.
- Understanding of differences in global leagues regarding player quality and style of play, as well as historical transfer flows between leagues
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
This internship is unpaid. Candidates will be eligible to receive academic credit for the internship and will be evaluated for potential employment upon completion of their internship.
