What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clocker position at RACING OFFICIALS ACCREDITATION PROGRAM?
Clocker This position is considered full-time and is six (6) mornings per week - Tuesday through Sunday. Clocker’s Day begins at 5:30am and ends around 10:30am. Pay is weekly - $22.15 per hour.
Clockers are responsible for observing horses on the track and timing them during morning workouts to obtain speed rating information. A Clocker must have good vision, knowledge of operating a stopwatch, and be able to identify specific pole markers on the track to accurately work.
