Retail Customer Service Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of store operations. This is a leadership position that requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations of the retail store
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise retail staff, including cashiers and sales associates
- Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed
- Maintain store appearance and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop sales strategies and meet sales targets
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with payroll processes is preferred
