Join a team of experienced teachers to support children with disabilities in an integrated preschool classroom as a substitute teacher/daycare aide. Our focus is on helping children to learn and grow through play in a strength based environment.
Starting wage range: $16.65.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Provide a safe and caring environment for children that will promote learning and a positive self-image, reflecting Racker’s values as defined in the Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct
- Carry out plans and programs for children as assigned by the teacher, including possible one-to-one assignment with a specific child
- Personal care including toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting and positioning
- Share information with classroom and management team
- Effective communication as a member of the team, including participation in appropriate meetings
- Keep families appropriately informed in a positive manner of issues affecting their children and the program
- Promote open communication and mutual understanding
- Attend training required by program regulations and as directed by supervisor
- Contribute to a positive work and learning environment for children in program as well as co-workers – must be professional, courteous and confidential
- Provide ideas and show initiative to help develop the educational setting
- Uphold standards of professionalism with regard to behavior and dress
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
