Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, following our daycare calendar.
- Competitive rate of pay: $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Co-teach and co-plan under the lead of the Special Education Teacher and in collaboration with other Daycare Teachers using assigned curriculum.
- Provide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively.
- Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported.
- Collaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design.
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences.
- Attend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements.
- And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education (one of the following):
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field OR
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience, OR
- 9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children.
Physical Capability
- Ability to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor, bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.
