Racksquared, LLC., is a fast growing, central Ohio data center company with an immediate opening for a Marketing Manager. As an organization, we are a tight knit team, driven by a desire for success and looking for the right person to join us and help us grow. While the primary focus of this role is to lead the marketing program (messaging, content creation, web site, social media execution, demand generation, event management) you will also be called upon to assist with account management for existing customers and to support the day to day sales effort. To be successful in this role, you will need to understand marketing principles, have an outgoing personality that presents well in front of customers, and demonstrate a level of attention to detail that borders on obsessive. Our customers are trusting their business with us and we need a team of incredible people to deliver on their expectations.
Key areas of responsibility
- Working with the Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations and Support teams to translate product strengths, capabilities and features into customer value and benefits.
- Developing a deep understanding of the buying audience, target personas, customer needs and purchasing process for our solutions.
- Creating differentiated campaign content to drive inbound leads.
- Supporting sales and go to market efforts through development of sales tools, training and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively position our products.
- Conducting analysis into market potential, customer usage data, and feature testing, along with competitive positioning.
- Working with existing customers to insure satisfaction and to grow their business with Racksquared.
- This position does not have direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing, account management or a customer service role.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
- Aptitude to learn about technology, technology concepts and tools and use them where appropriate
- Detail oriented in everything you do with a desire for perfection
- Logical approach to problem solving, process improvement and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, etc) and marketing channels
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
