- Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
- Provides answers to the organization by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding employees through corrective steps.
- Improves organizational references by writing and maintaining documentation.
- Participates in development of employee training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.
- Accommodates organizational disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
- Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
- Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

- Familiarity with telephone, office, and iMIS database/webserver is a plus

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts and boxes.
