What You'll Do
- Work with project engineer to fabricate dies, fixtures, and tools using CNC machine.
- Utilize all necessary machines to mill, drill, turn, and grind parts to tolerance and finish.
- Read technical drawings to set up CNC machine and program in accordance with the blueprints.
- Use computer software to model cutting paths and consider tools required to program machine accordingly.
- Document actions and parts for recurring use items.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
- Be a member of cross functional team.
- Continually grow job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Proliferate a culture of data and evidence-based decision making.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for completing new and different requests to add value to production team.
