Job Summary
The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks to support the efficiency and processing of financial transactions. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the smooth operation of our accounting department
Essential Job Functions
- Process and maintain accounting documents and records with high accuracy
- Enter financial transactions daily into Datacor (ERP System), including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper documentation (packing slip, invoice, and purchase order) for 3-way matching
- Research, track, and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Assist with the preparation of weekly check runs
- Monitor and process incoming A/P invoices
- Evaluate accounts payable and receivable balances, resolving unpaid invoice issues
- Perform basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing mail
- Provide customer service support when necessary
- Assist Staff Accountant & Accounting Manager with various accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures preferred
- Competency in MS Office, Datacor, or other accounting software/ERP systems preferred
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and data entry
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently
- Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

Compensation and Benefits
- $17.00-$22.00 per hour
- Full-time position at 32 hours per week
