RADCO is seeking a Resident Accounts Manager in the Atlanta area to join our incredibly talented team. The Resident Account Manager primary responsibility is to maintain the overall integrity of resident financial records for the assigned community portfolio. This is a leadership role and requires someone with a strong sense of business and financial acumen. The Resident Accounts Manager reports directly to the RVP of Operations but works closely with the Property Manager and Regional of the community. This person is a leader, a team-builder, and knows how to encourage, empower, and hold others accountable. This person is an effective communicator, an empathetic problem solver, an adaptive multi-tasker, and someone who can drill down to the details while seeing the big picture.

Qualifications:  
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an Assistant Property Manager role
  • 2 years in Property Management
  • Experience with property management software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to work independently, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, prioritizes and plans work assignments, is organized, and uses time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, as scheduled, Monday through Friday. The weekly schedule may change as required.
  • Equipment Required: telephone, computer (including keyboard, mouse, and monitors), photocopier, printer, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills providing for effective verbal and written communication with residents, team members, peers, vendors, owners, etc.   
  • Ability to de-escalate and respond sensitively to customer service or account-related concerns  
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively delegate and manage a team 
  
Responsibilities:   
  • Weekly calls with Property Managers and Regional Manager to discuss property performance
  • Weekly delinquency report with notes submitted to the property manager and regional manager on Monday by noon.
  • Verify accounts have late fees posted by the late date and dispossessory fees posted by the filing date
  • Serve legal documents to include but not limited to, 3-day letters, legal letters, small balance due letters
  • Process/supervise all eviction proceedings daily.
  • Attend unlawful detainer and other court hearings (virtually) on behalf of ownership as required
  • Verify all funds are deposited and posted daily
  • Manage resident online payment enrollments
  • Daily collection calls to delinquent residents with notes updated in property management software delinquent report.
  • Manage resident assistance program options per company operational guidelines
  • Responsible for assigned community portfolio resident account ledger activities, ensuring documentation is kept complete, accurate, up-to-date and compliant
  • Maintain knowledge of all relevant laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord-tenant relationships to ensure 100% compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
