Education/experience
Master’s degree or education and work experience at a level equivalent to a Master’s degree. Demonstrated relevant experience in Admissions, Marketing, or related field or equivalent education, training, and experience required.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director will also contribute to the overall enrollment management strategy, support the Admissions team, and ensure that admission processes align with institutional goals. This position involves travel, relationship-building, and outreach efforts. The Associate Director supervises, mentors, and supports a team of Admissions counselors, ensuring professional development and performance goals are met. This position will oversee certain administrative and leadership functions.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated relevant experience in Admissions, Marketing, or related field or equivalent education, training, and experience required.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to provide direct outreach through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on details to oversee a recruitment territory.
Have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Possess a minimum of three years of relevant Admissions-related experience and a willingness to travel.
Be a highly independent, self-motivated, team-oriented professional who projects a positive image of Radford University.
Experience working with a Student Information System ( SIS ) and a Customer Relations Management ( CRM ) software.
Experience in developing and managing presentations through public speaking with diverse constituencies.
Hiring Range
Up to $70,000, depending on experience.
