Job Summary
The Coordinator of Gift Acknowledgements and Donor Recognition provides proactive, effective, and measurable administrative support to enhance fundraising activities, primarily focusing on the cultivation and stewardship of donors.
Required Qualifications
Excellent organizational and time management skills— must anticipate needs and deadlines and be able to meet those. Must have excellent relationship management skills and be able to work with a variety of personalities. Must have high level of computer proficiency in software products including Word, Excel, email applications and must possess strong database management skills. Able to work with team to meet common goals and objectives. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality with discretion, diplomacy and tact. Strong analytic capabilities with excellent attention to detail. Detailed oriented and demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with team members and also independently. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
General knowledge of moves management principles and stages of donor-centered fundraising. Stewardship experience in higher education. Experience in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud Award Management/Stewardship Management.
