Job Summary
- Provide executive level administrative support for the Dean of the College of Business and Economics
- Serve as the chief contact person for the College and Dean for internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to university administrators, chairs, parents, students, alumni, corporate partners, Advisory council, Foundation, etc.
- Exceptional organizational skills providing flexibility and independent decision making in a fast-paced diverse environment with extraordinary attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Act as a budget manager to closely monitor and manage budgets for the College
- Research and compile data and findings for accreditation and annual reports
- Create and manage personnel files, process hiring and People Admin responsibilities
- Manage correspondence, mailing lists, reports, minutes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and assurance of learning data
- Supervise and participate in special event planning
- Assist in managing the College Dean's schedule and travel
- Manage budget responsibilities, schedule travel, and Outlook calendar management with a high-level of integrity and professionalism
- Serve as a resource person on administrative policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to work with confidential information;
- Previous experience providing executive level administrative support;
- Working knowledge of various software commonly used in an office environment such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Experience interpreting policies and procedures;
- Experience working with diverse individuals and/or groups;
- Great attention to detail and highly proficient in writing and editing skills;
- Demonstrated ability to respond diplomatically, professionally and courteously with individuals at all levels;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and meet established deadlines.
