We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide appropriate interventions
- Conduct triage assessments to determine patient needs and prioritize care
- Assist in critical care situations and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient well-being
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Experience in pediatric care is a plus
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Familiarity with coding and documentation practices
- Ability to perform spinal taps if required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
