Swedish Radia Imaging Center is looking for a Sonographer. We are an Outpatient Imaging Center, open Monday – Friday, in Edmonds, Washington. Compensation: Hourly salary range $46.21 to $72.21. The hourly salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The pay range listed is hourly base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours), extra shift bonus.
Position Hours: 1.0 FTE Monday-Friday 4/10, days flexible (hours between 7:00am - 5:30pm)

Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Provides leadership and direction in the day-to-day processes and workflow of the Ultrasound department utilizing effective communication skills with sonographers. Assists Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor and Imaging Center Manager with coordinating staff schedules and planned/unplanned absences.
- Customer and Patient Satisfaction: Proactively and consistently understands the needs of our customers and patients. Effectively provides service and/or resolves problems. Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers and patients. Works to create a positive experience for all. Contributes to team's ability to meet and anticipate customer and patient needs.
- Technical Performance: Performs all ultrasound imaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest for imaging exams. Organizes and monitors patient flow in order to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards.
- Quality and Safety: Ensures quality, safety and related regulatory requirements are maintained, including oversight of monthly QA image submission and accreditation guidelines. Works with Imaging Center Managers to reinforce staff understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures, providing training and guidance of new policies and procedures as required. Participates in Peer-to-Peer Quality program, making necessary corrections as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Collaboration: Actively builds effective working relationships and trust within sonographer team and between all areas of the practice, internally and externally, ensuring all team members are treated with respect. Coaches and provides feedback to team encouraging opportunities to identify problems and challenges, and develops creative consensus-building solutions.
- Teamwork: Assists with hiring sonographers; trains and evaluates new team members; actively builds a cohesive team ensuring team meets set and agreed-upon accountabilities. Fosters an atmosphere of positive attitude and teamwork; encourages other staff members to do the same.
- Accreditation: Performs and/or oversees performance of federally recognized and approved accreditation and ensures that the sonographers are in compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Technical Development: Assists in development of new protocols as requested by medical director or subspecialty radiologists. Provides technical assistance to other staff members as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinates equipment service/maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended service schedule and existing service contracts.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion/graduate from 2-4 year C.A.H.E.A. accredited ultrasound program.
- Current ARDMS registration required.
- Current certification in Healthcare Provider CPR.
- Minimum of three years sonographer experience preferred.
