What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer (Outpatient) position at Radia Medical Imaging?
Swedish Radia Imaging Center is looking for a Sonographer. We are an Outpatient Imaging Center, open Monday – Friday, in Edmonds, Washington. Compensation: Hourly salary range $39.80 to $62.19. The hourly salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The pay range listed is hourly base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours), extra shift bonus.
Position Hours: 1.0 FTE Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm

Position Summary
- Properly performs imaging to facility and ACR standards
- Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
- Appropriately protocols all orders in advance of appointments
- Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
- Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
- Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic US program required
- Current ARDMS registration required
- Abdomen & OB-Gyn credentials required
- Vascular experience preferred
- One year of ultrasound experience preferred
- Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
