We currently have an exciting opening for a Robotics Maintenance Tech III.Radial is the pre-eminent B2C eCommerce fulfillment solutions provider powering some of the world’s best customer experiences, specializing in tailored, scalable eCommerce fulfillment solutions for mid-market and enterprise brands.Responsibilities : Assists other Technicians and / or Mechanics in the repair and maintenance of roboticsDiagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic toolsResponsible for performing, independently or with minimal guidance, audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components within the Fulfillment Center.Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to safety and quality procedures.Troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input / output (I / O) devicesProvides resolutions to mechanical, technical / controls issues.Troubleshoots and repairs key components for the Fulfillment CenterParticipates in cleaning the robotic brushes / lenses and maintenance area as appropriateCompletes work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.Assist with developing plans on how to accomplish department goals.Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment.Maintains inventory of company supplied tools.Other duties as instructed by supervision / management.Qualifications : Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issuesExcellent hand and eye coordination skillsAbility to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in EnglishCommand of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventoryAbility to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessaryCommand of safety procedures (including lock-out / tag-out)Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of timePreferred experience with Geek or similar robotics solutionsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.AAS in an Engineering related field or will consider experience in lieu of degree including military service.3-5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance and / or installation is required.Strong electrical background, knowledge of low voltage controls and PLC.Required prior experience and / or working knowledge of : Strong mechanical troubleshooting, Solid electrical troubleshooting, Solid controls troubleshooting, Preventative / predictive maintenance, Modification and upgrade support InstallationMust possess visual acuity to read fine print as needed.Must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions.Must possess capability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 200 pounds.Must be able to climb stairs.Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products.Robotics certification is a plus CMMS experience.Network troubleshooting a plus.Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Experience working with and managing outside vendors, customers, and business partnersPrevious industry-based experience.Bilingual English / Spanish preferredTravel : This position is not remote.Travel is not required.BenefitsOpportunities to develop and explore career advancementCompetitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid life insurance and disability, employer HSA fundingFamily planning coverage, including Fertility & Adoption benefits401K matching after 6 months with immediate vestingGenerous PTOEducational assistance and more!Radial is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any other group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law..
