We are looking for a dynamic and creative Training Manager with a focus on content creation to join Sola Salons’ Training and Operations team. This individual is a natural storyteller, skilled communicator, and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They demonstrate curiosity, positivity, and a strong sense of initiative, with the ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and create impactful learning experiences. In this role, the you will design and deliver innovative training programs and resources for franchisees, managers, and Sola Professionals, enabling them to optimize their businesses and maximize their success. This role is pivotal in advancing Sola’s mission to inspire and support beauty professionals to chase their dreams, elevate their careers, and experience the freedom of salon ownership, while transforming the salon suites industry through cutting-edge training and development initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management
- Develop engaging, high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, video content, guides, and other resources for Sola franchisees, managers, and professionals.
LMS Oversight
- Manage and maintain content within the Sola Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring courses are updated, relevant, and user-friendly.
Training Program Development
- Collaborate with the Training and Operations team to design and execute comprehensive training programs, including onboarding, continuing education, and operational best practices.
Support Change Management
- Create content that facilitates the adoption of new initiatives, tools, and processes across the Sola network.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Partner with franchisees, field teams, and internal departments to identify training needs and develop resources that address these priorities effectively.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor engagement and outcomes of training programs to refine and enhance content delivery.
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- 3 years of experience in instructional design, content creation, or training within a franchise organization or similar industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Communications, or related field is preferred.
- Strong creative and technical skills, with proficiency in e-learning tools, graphic design software, and video editing platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible content.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
