What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Scientist position at Radiance RPO?
Duties:
- Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP
- Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
- Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.
Skills:
- Qualifications: BS degree is Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology
- Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary
Education:
- BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required
- BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.
- New graduates welcome.
Minimum Degree Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.
Schedule Notes:
- NIGHT SHIFT
- 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Clinical laboratory: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- ASCP or Medical Laboratory Scientist certification. (Required)
Ability to Commute:
- Morristown, NJ 07960 (Preferred)
