We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Intern to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain hands-on experience working alongside software engineers, data scientists, and analysts on a large-scale, complex development project.
As a Cyber Security Analyst Intern, you will be an integral part of our platform team, utilizing cybersecurity tools to enhance security and compliance across our development efforts. You will help identify vulnerabilities, assist in security assessments, and support the implementation of security best practices in our next-generation Modeling & Simulation framework.

Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Security , CISSP, Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certifications
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework, DISA STIG/SRG and STIG tools
- Experience administering Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- DevSecOps experience including build tools such as Jenkins or similar
- Containerization experience using Docker, Podman, or similar
