Job Title: Principal IT SAP Functional Analyst - Powerplan
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Business Support and Consulting:
Functional Analysis:
Automate/optimize the PowerPlan system
Map business requirements to SAP S4 system capabilities and configure to meet requirements
Review design and technical specification documents for alignment with business solution
Perform PowerPlan configuration and do quality review and testing activities
Qualifications Minimum:

Business Support and Consulting:
- Define standard processes in PowerPlan and drive adaptation in Finance and Tax areas.
- Analyze end-to-end complex business processes across all modules within PowerPlan.
- Understand in detail the current and future business environment of the business organizations; effectively anticipate, identify, and fully meet the business needs using an integrated approach leveraging existing and new PowerPlan capabilities.
- Identify, propose, and influence IT solutions to complex cross-organizational business problems utilizing ERP capabilities; negotiate requirements and deliverables across multiple business and IT customers and organizations.
- Evaluate current customizations in the system to help business and IT partners understand rthe isks and costs of customizing vs. using standard functionalities, advocating for using standard functionalities to lower future implementation cost and total cost of ownership (TCO) for solutions.
Functional Analysis:

Qualifications Minimum:
- 10 years of job-related experience in Information Technology
- 8 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in the PowerPlan system
Desired:
- Familiarity with CR, PM, Asset/ARO, Depr modules and their data flow
- Project creation, estimating, approval
- Collecting and classifying charges (derivations and true-up)
- In-service and completion of work orders
- PowerTax and Tax Repairs
- Creating checks and balances to prevent data issues in automated processes
- Lease Accounting Module** (if PGE uses PowerPlan)
- Month-End Close Processes
- PowerPlan Integration Tools
- SDLC and Integration Best Practices/ETL processes
