What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clearwater Location Youth Director position at Radiant Church?
I. Purpose of the Position:
- To provide leadership, vision, and direction that creates a life giving atmosphere of vibrant and enticing discipleship/evangelism for the students, parents, and YTH Leadership Teams of Radiant Church.
- Execute and maintain the vision culture of Radiant YTH at your location.
- Ability to communicate the Gospel through various means to YTH
- Heart for YTH and parents in spiritual growth
- Leadership background and experience serving with YTH
- Proven ability to lead and build staff and Dream Team
- Project management experience
- Ability to articulate and implement the vision and culture of Radiant Church
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Superior interpersonal skills working with a variety of people: staff, Dream Team members, parents, and YTH
- Solid theological grounding and creativity in curriculum development
- Positive attitude and positive, proactive approach to problem solving. Must be solution oriented
- Computer competency in Planning Center, Google Suite, Slack, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and pursuit of excellence through attention to detail
- Oversee and organize YTH Ministry at your Radiant Church location in conjunction with Location Pastor
- Develop and oversee implementation of policies throughout location and assure compliance
- Develop integrated training processes for leaders and Dream Teamers
- Work closely with ministry leaders at location (Location Staff) and analyze the effectiveness of programming and adjust as needed
- Lead and build teams to execute all aspects of YTH Ministry from experiences and student discipleship
- Recruit, develop, and training high quality leaders for Dream Teamers
- Consistent communication with Dream Teamers/leaders and parents
- Develop healthy community among parents and equip parents for discipleship through small group experiences
- Help develop and maintain all security standards
- Oversee special event planning to include specific events and Dream Team appreciation events
- Lead department meetings and empower team to fulfill their unique roles
- Oversee and maintain location ministry budget
- Maintain strong communication and relations with Central YTH Directors and Location Pastor to ensure the vision of the Lead Pastor is implemented in all aspects of Next Gen ministry
- Participate and serve at required church wide events
- Attend and participate in Location Meetings and development
- Support Execute Central YTH experiences
