Position: Program Manager
Location: Detroit MI
Duration: 12 Months
The ideal candidate would be someone with experience working with non-profit/community action agencies, with very strong communication and presentation skills, experienced leader who fosters collaboration and is able to engage with multiple stakeholders, strong program or project management skills to oversee implementation of income qualified energy efficiency programs .
Responsibilities:
* Program Development and Management:
* Develop, implement, and evaluate program strategies and initiatives to address the needs of low-income individuals and families.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
* Monitor program performance and track progress towards established goals and objectives.
* Identify and address program challenges and implement solutions to improve service delivery.
* Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
* Financial Management:
* Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring responsible use of funds.
* Monitor program expenditures and ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
* Prepare and submit financial reports to funders and stakeholders.
* Community Outreach and Partnership Development:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including social service agencies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
* Represent the program at community meetings and events.
* Collaborate with partners to coordinate services and resources for clients.
* Conduct outreach activities to promote program awareness and access.
* Client Services:
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services.
* Monitor client progress and provide support as needed.
* Address client grievances and resolve conflicts.
* Ensure client confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
* Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
* Prepare and submit program reports
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date program data.
* Participate in program audits and evaluations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, human services, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven experience in program management, preferably in a low-income assistance or social service setting.
* Strong understanding of the challenges faced by low-income individuals and families.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate staff.
* Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
* Knowledge of community resources and social service agencies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
* Strong organizational skills.
